![]() I would suggest making an agreement beforehand that you and the bad player will be a permanent alliance, and the good player and the newbie will be a permanent alliance once those techs are reached. ![]() this would set the AI's bonuses to emperor or monarch, meanwhile my bro's tech rate would be set to diety. he would set his difficulty to diety, and I would set mine to emperor or monarch. ![]() I used to play multiplayer with myself and my brother and we would agree to go with a permanent alliance victory. We are also now going to play on the super large real earth custom map next round. Not to the point of it not being fun anymore, but I need a handicap. I'm too good for it to be fun, I need some way to handicap myself. But then one of our guys got completely destroyed by NPCs that decided he has to die and declared war on him with 4 people. I then swapped civs with her and took over said worst civ and after another 100 rounds I was on place 4 again, just beating the npc that was her neighbour and on my way to begin a killing spree of killing everything around me. Meanwhile the one who is really bad sat on the lowest place, well below all the npcs and us (It was like 164 points to 220 for the next and I sat somewhere at 430). I took Elizabeth and was with a large advantage above everyone else after like 100 rounds or something (we played on Epic with a huge map). I played a round with them a few days ago. Like one is a completely newby, one is not really new but really bad and the next is quite good but there is still a large gap between him and me. However the problem is, I have massively more experience in the game than they have. Heya, I'm playing with a few friends a round of Civ IV soon.
